Multi-Family Inspection

Get An Inspection Before You Make The Investment

If you are considering an investment in multi-family housing, then you need to be an informed buyer and have the units thoroughly assessed with a duplex inspection before the close of Escrow. Evolve Property Inspections employs a Certified Master Inspector, and we are experienced in evaluating multi-unit structures. We will provide you with the information you need to make a wise investment decision. Here are the ways we can save you time and money with one of our multi-family home inspections.

Inspections Save You Time & Money

When you purchase a home where you will also become a landlord, it’s important to know the condition of each of the units and all of their components to accurately assess your necessary upgrades and expenditures. With all of the necessary information provided by our inspection, you will be able to either draw up your best offer, ask for remediations, or walk away from the deal. As a landlord, you should also consider an annual inspection of your investment properties, duplex, triplex, or fourplex to ensure that your tenants are properly maintaining them. Catch small issues before they become expensive problems.

What's Included in a Multi-Family Dwelling Inspection

This is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home. We will assess interior elements including the HVAC system, interior plumbing system, interior electrical system, roof, attic, visible insulation, walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, foundation, structural components, and functional appliances. For the exterior, we will assess the driveway, walkway, windows, doors, paint, siding, fascia boards, vegetation, grading, stairs and hand railings, gutters, decks, balconies, visible foundation issues, and framing. You will have a comprehensive, detailed report documenting our findings within 24 hours of the inspection.
